Keep up the great work! Those of us not living in Alberta depend on journalist outlets such as this to help us understand what is happening. I'm not a great fan of Premier Smith. She has "more than insulted" two great people that I know of, being Dr William Makis and Pastor Art Pawlowski. So forgive me, if I'm pessimistic that great outcomes for Alberta are in the hands of Premier Smith and "her team" To date, I have toilet paper that is more valuable than the MOU's signed, that in my opinion do not help Alberta...the documents helps PM WEF/FLIP FLOP Carney. But, time will tell, the proof is always in the pudding.
She is trying hard to get a pipeline. If not thru CARNEY THEN Thru President Trump he is on the books for it do Carney is gonna lose . So let him keep denying us Albertans.
I adore Premier Smith she is a business woman & a mother & wife. She deserves the utmost respect for her hardworking handling of the hopefully New pipeline . When all things considered she try’s to balance out why these men given her to make her question.

The announcement is tonight May 21,2026 at 6:45pm. I’m a Danielle Smith supporter, not as much today as I was in the past, the deal on the new (not going to happen) pipeline deal caused lots of my support to dwindle drastically.
The new deal is extremely bad for Alberta and really good for Carney and Brookfield. Carbon tax increases are unacceptable to me and goes against the UCP agenda that was voted on at the last UCP conference.
